INFLATABLES 101:
PLEASE ALLOW TIME TO GET THE INFLATABLES INFLATED. USE A FLAT SPACE WITHOUT OVERHEAD OBSTRUCTIONS AND PLAN SPACE FOR YOUR ENTRANCES. REMEMBER TO ALLOW TIME TO DEFLATE AND TO ROLL WELL.
These how-to videos will help your volunteers utilize the inflatables with both ease and safety. Bear in mind these videos are generic to inflatables, so not everything will be a perfect road-map but they will give you key pointers on handling the bouncers safely and efficiently.
EVERYTHING STARTS (and ends) WITH A RATCHET STRAP
Seriously, this might be the most important video here. This very informative 2-minute video shows you everything you never thought you needed to be taught about a ratchet strap, and might just save your sanity and your deposit. From quick release to easy use and ratcheting, please take two minutes to watch this so that you can easily handle the inflatables:
SET UP:
PLEASE place a tarp (or 2 for the obstacle course) under the bounce house before inflation to help us maintain these awesome resources. FROM THE VIDEOS: Some of our inflatables have zippers and some don't. We have provided a broom for sweeping out the inflatables. Use only the inflatable specific cleaners to wipe down the inflatables.
QUICK OVERVIEW: If you've done it all before but need a quick refresher, this is the video for you! Don't forget to put tarps under the inflatables to protect them.

THE FULL SET-UP: If you've never set up an inflatable before, this is the video for you. Don't forget to put tarps under the inflatables to protect them:

DEFLATE and ROLL INFLATABLES:QUICK OVERVIEW: A broom is provided in the trailer to sweep out the house before deflating. Be sure to pay special attention to the seams and crevices as dirt particles can ultimately lead to tearing. The KEY: the collapsed and folded inflatable should be straight AND no wider than 4 feet.. Take time to get all of the air out before and during the roll. Pictures from a roll-up are in the binder in the trailer if you want to see more step-by-step instructions.
|
COMBO UNIT/OBSTACLE COURSE: The 7-min video below demonstrates the best way to roll up an inflatable so that it is a manageable size to strap onto the hand truck and into the trailer. Inflatables will get unwieldy if not folded properly and getting the air completely out is critical. Recommended: three volunteers - two rollers and one still getting the air out.

PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THE ROLL-UP PROCESS. IF THE INFLATABLES ARE NOT ROLLED TIGHTLY ENOUGH, YOU MAY HAVE TROUBLE GETTING EVERYTHING LOADED INTO THE TRAILER.
